A word from Mari
American Abatement and Demo, LLC (AAD), is a small, family-owned company managed by women, minorities, and veterans, with strategic growth in the industry. Initially began in the residential market, AAD has left a mark in the business and gradually expanded into the commercial space. To this day, the business main focus continues to be on safety, customer satisfaction, and up-to-date training for all team members.
Partners in Business and in Life
Mari grew up in a family of entrepreneurs. She attributes her self-motivation to her mother’s hard work and taking a leap of faith in life. Mari followed the legacy of life lessons left by her mother, plus the value of commitment and dedication as a Marine Corps veteran. Mari enjoys learning, and she has combined her background in education and service to endeavor in starting up AAD with her husband, Aaron Borrero. They both have the heart to give and thrive on the challenges each new project presents. Mari has obtained certifications as an Asbestos Project Designer, AHERA Building Inspector, Lead Renovator, and Project Supervisor.
Aaron Borrero enjoys solving problems brought on by every project design; commercial projects are his strong suit. He excels in investing time and fostering good relationships to meet the needs of the clients. Aaron has experience in project management, with several certifications in CAS, AHERA Building Inspector, and Lead RRP.
Together, Mari and Aaron enjoy meeting new opportunities from running their business by giving back to the community in which they live.
